The previous name/URL http://brand72.posterous.com/ can now be reached with the much nicer and shorter http://brand72.com. All previous bookmarks under the Posterous URL will still work, even the actual URL still works.

The '72 Posterous Family

But for the purposes of 'identity', www.Brand72.com now joins www.Logo72.com and www.Font72.com, all part of the 72' Posterous family.

Soon, there will be URL changes for Identity72, Designs72 and TypePosters72.

The '72' is the year I was born. I wanted to ditch the 'junkies' part as felt this was a little too tacky and wanted something more meaningful to me.

IBM – Could it be a more fashionable brand? Does it need to be?


Yesterday I asked a question on Twitter: “Can anyone offer a reason why a brand like IBM couldn’t be fashionable to consumers?” – This followed my post yesterday (here new list of top 100 brands) where I showed that IBM has seen a decline in consumer data in Google and site visits etc even though IBM’s has seen amazing business success and great share price performance as a predominantly B2B company. Lots of data and graphs below.
